2026 TEN Institute_Call for Session Proposals.pdf

The Texas Evaluation Network (TEN) Virtual Institute will take place on Thursday, March 26, 2026, with sessions offered between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM CST.

Theme: Curiosity in Action: Asking Better Questions for a Complex World.

This year’s Institute highlights curiosity as a disciplined, values-driven practice that helps evaluators navigate complexity, adapt to changing expectations, and generate insight across diverse contexts.

We invite proposals from evaluators and allied professionals for session presentations that support learning, connection, and the advancement of evaluation practice across Texas. Proposals should offer meaningful contributions to conversations about evaluation practice, methodology, and the evolving role of evaluators.

Suggested Focus Areas (examples):

    • Lessons learned from innovative or applied evaluation methodologies
    • Critical reflection on the role and purpose of evaluation
    • Participatory, collaborative, or community-engaged evaluation approaches
    • The future of evaluation practice
    • Building evaluation capacity in organizations and systems
    • Evaluation across sectors: non-profit, education, healthcare, consulting, government, philanthropy, and non-traditional settings
